The petition portrays a very sordid state of affairs before the respondent inasmuch as though the claim for caste verification has been submitted by the petitioner in the year 2011, the same has not as yet been decided.

We, therefore, direct the respondent to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today, in case it has not been decided as yet. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent on 28/08/2023 at 11.00 a.m.

The petition is accordingly allowed in the above terms. No costs.
