NO. 27212/2017 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 23 rd October, 2018 This application is filed under order V Rule 20 for permission to serve the respondent no. 2 & 3 by publication of the notice in the newspaper. It is stated in the application that the above respondents could not be served on the given address though served. According to the applicant, inspite of best effort on the part of applicant, he could not be able to trace correct address of respondents. Therefore, the applicant wants to serve aforesaid respondents by substituted by way of paper publication. The application is supported by affidavit.
Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and the bailiff report, the applicant is allowed to serve respondent no. 2 & 3 by substituted service by paper publication on last known address.
Substituted service be effected upon respondent no. 2 & 3 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily, where the respondent no. 2 & 3 are lastly known to have been resided, in terms of Order 5 Rule 20 (1-A) of CPC, returnable within four weeks from the date of publication of notice.
