Admittedly, the term of office of the petitioners has expired in November, 2022, as a result of which, the present petition insofar as it challenges the order dated 30/09/2022 (pg.34), operative para 2, is rendered infructuous. 2.

Insofar as operative para 3 of the impugned order is concerned, the Commissioner, appears to have exercised the power under Section 39A of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959, which even otherwise he was entitled to exercise suo motu also, considering which, I do not see any reason to interfere in the impugned order. The writ petition is therefore dismissed. Needless say that in case any order is passed under Section 39A of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, the
