The Scrutiny Committee seeks extension of time to decide the caste claim of the petitioner. By the order dated 1/11/2022, this Court had directed the Scrutiny Committee to decide the said claim by 9/12/2022. In the application, it has been stated that the vigilance enquiry is yet to be conducted prior to verifying the petitioner's claim. On the other hand, according to the petitioner, since the admission process for B.Ed Course is underway, the petitioner is in need of such validity certificate.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application coupled with the fact that the petitioner desires to prosecute further education, time of three months is granted to decide the claim of the petitioner. It is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted. Necessary steps be taken accordingly.

The Civil Application is disposed of.
