Heard.

The applicant, woman aged about 51 years, has sought pre-arrest bail in crime registered against her, her husband and her two sons for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 304-B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusations against the applicant are that she has insisted for dowry from her daughterin-law who ultimately committed suicide by hanging herself. According to investigating agency deceased committed suicide within one year of marriage. It is stated that the husband and elder son of the applicant are granted bail, however, the application of applicant's younger son (husband of deceased) is rejected.

This Court granted interim protection to the

2 aba769.16 applicant by order passed on 23rd November, 2016. It is not the complaint of the investigating agency that the applicant has misused the protection and has not co-operated with the investigation. Considering the facts of the case, in my view, the interim protection granted by this Court on 23rd November, 2016 is required to be confirmed. It is confirmed accordingly. The application is allowed.
