It is not necessary to go into the matrix of the matter in detail. Suffice to say, the petition is filed seeking direction to respondents-authorities to decide the matter bearing Case No.Con./C.R.1933/2017 in respect of correcting the survey number. Pursuant to issuance of notice, the respondents filed its reply on affidavit contending that there are 12 other old cases pending in relation to correction of land consolidation before respondent 1 and at least a year's time is required to decide those 12 old cases.

02] We find that the correction, which is being sought by the petitioner, is consequent to the consolidation proceedings and we are conscious of the fact that it is a complex issue and requires plenty of time to correct the identification number of land.

03] Considering this aspect, we direct the respondents to decide the cases of the petitioner by May, 2024 after deciding earlier 12 cases. The petitions is disposed of in the aforesaid terms with no order as to costs.
