CORAM : B.R. GAVAI AND KUM. INDIRA JAIN, JJ.
DATED : FEBRUARY 22, 2017.
The petitioner is basically praying for grant of parole. Since a vague averment was made that the parole was sought on the ground that the petitioner's mother is ailing, we had requested the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to make an enquiry through the concerned Police Station Officer regarding the ailment of the petitioner's mother. The enquiry would reveal that the petitioner's mother was hospitalized prior to three years and at present she was not required any medical treatment. It is stated that her younger son is taking care of his mother.
In that view of the matter, the Criminal Writ Petition is rejected.
