The petitioner has been denied the benefits of rules regarding allowed to keep term (A. T. K. T.) on the ground that if, the number of backlogs from I to VI Semester are taken together, it exceed 5 courses/ papers. According to the petitioner, he has a backlog of 5 theory papers, which does not exceed the requirement of rules. However, according to the University, there is one backlog in sessional backlog and if that is to be counted, it would exceed 5 courses/papers. We therefore, put a specific question to the learned counsel appearing for the University to show us that the theory papers, which is not included in the session for the same subject, and to file an affidavit to that effect. 2.
