IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

NAGPUR BENCH : NAGPUR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION NO. 117 OF 2015.

(Ramesh Purushottamrao Mahajan .vs. State of Maharashtra & others) Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders Court's or Judge's orders or directions and Registrar's orders.

Mr. A.S. Kilor, Advocate for petitioner, Mr. D.P. Thakare, Addl. G.P. for respondents. CORAM : B.R. GAVAI & Z.A. HAQ, JJ.

DATED : DECEMBER 23, 2015.

The present Public Interest Litigation has been filed with a grievance that though the State Government has issued Government Resolution dated 30.10.2015, thereby providing that all purchases of linen, etc. should be done through Maharashtra Rajya Hatmag Mahasangh and Maharashtra Rajya Hatmag Mahamandal, the purchases by the respondent no.3 are made from private factories.

Mr. D.P. Thakare, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents, states that the process for purchase of the material had already started before issuance of the Government Resolution and that is saved by the Government Resolution itself. He on instructions of Director of Health Services - respondent no.3 herein makes a categorical statement that all purchases hereinafter would be made strictly in accordance with the Government Resolution dated 30.10.2015.

23.12PIL.117.15 In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition. The petition is disposed of by accepting the statement made by respondent no.3 - the Director of Health Services.

Judge Judge J.
