Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. According to him, the lands of the petitioners were acquired, but compensation was not paid to them. He submits that the petitioners are entitled for benefits under the Act of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

Considering the aforesaid facts and averments made in the present Writ Petition, we direct the respondent-No.2 authority to treat the present petition as a representation, and same shall be decided within a period of eight weeks from today.

The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to furnish a copy of the present petition along with a copy of this order before the concerned authority within a period of two weeks from today.
