Shri R.M.Bhangde, Advocate for applicant/respondent no.3. CORAM :- A.S.CHANDURKAR AND ANIL L. PANSARE, JJ., DATE :- DECEMBER 16, 2022 By this application the respondent no.3 seeks modification of the order dated 23.11.2022 for the reason that it is not the concerned body that plays role in the admission process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. In the application it is submitted that the respondent no.3 is a regulating body and the concerned party would be Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
In the light of aforesaid prayer made in the application, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to add Commissioner, State CET Cell, Mumbai as well as Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi as respondent nos. 4 and 5 in the writ petition.
Leave granted to implead the aforesaid parties in the writ petition as respondent nos. 4 and 5.
For the reasons stated in the application, the name of the respondent no.3 is permitted to be deleted from the array of
5-CAW-2813-22.odt 2 parties. The necessary corrections be carried out accordingly. In view of aforesaid, the interim order passed on 23.11.2022 shall operate as directions issued to the respondent no.4 since the respondent no.3 has now been deleted. The civil application stands disposed of.
Writ Petition No. 7233 of 2022 Leave granted to serve newly added respondents by furnishing copy on the Standing Counsel.
Shri N.S.Deshpande, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent no.5. Stand over to 04.01.2023.
