The original respondent No.1(a) and 1(b) have filed this application for condonation of delay of 940 days in filing cross objection in the present appeal. 3.

The learned counsel for the appellant/acquiring body strongly opposed the application on the ground of delay being inordinate and unexplained.

However, considering the statutory rights of the cross objectors, the delay of 940 days is condoned subject to cost of Rs.1500/- to be paid to the Vidarbha Lady lawyers Association, Nagpur within two weeks.

It is made clear that that the respondent Nos.1(a) and 1(b)/claimants shall not claim any interest and statutory benefits for the aforesaid period of delay on the enhanced compensation, if granted.
