DATE : April 21, 2017 It is the contention of the petitioner that the respondent/Scrutiny Committee has invalidated her caste-claim on the ground that the petitioner has submitted the documents from her husband's side. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is having sufficient documents from her father's side and she will produce it before the Scrutiny Committee.

In that view of the matter, we remand the matter to the respondent/Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner shall remain present before the Scrutiny Committee on 02/05/2017. The Scrutiny Committee shall decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of petitioner's appearance before it. In the meantime, there shall be status-quo in

934-A-WP-5740-16 2/2 respect of the petitioner's post of Member of Grampanchayat till the respondent/Scrutiny Committee decides the claim of the petitioner.

Petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs. Pending C.A.No.172/2017 is also disposed of accordingly.
