DATED : 04th October, 2019 .

It is the objection raised by the respondents that there exists an alternate remedy of filing a revision under Section 9(2A) of the Central Industrial Security Force Act 1968. The revision is required to be preferred within a period of six months from the date on which the order is communicated. In the present matter, the order was passed on 23.11.2016 and the present petition was filed on 24.11.2016.

In view of the objection raised, and the fact that the petition filed before this Court, was within a period of six months, we direct that this petition itself shall be treated as revision and a copy of it be presented before the Competent Authority, which shall decide the matter on its own merits. All questions are left open. The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the petition. JUDGE JUDGE RGurnule
