In a proceedings for custody of a minor child between the petitioner-father and respondentsmaternal grandparents, by the order impugned in this petition, the learned District Judge has refused to grant interim custody of the minor child to the petitioner-father.

I am told that the main proceedings are at the stage of evidence. In that view of the matter, instead of hearing the present petition on merits, the following order would be apposite:

2 / 2 936.wp8548.2022 (i) The trial Court shall endeavour to decide the Civil Misc. Application No.293/2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(ii) During the pendency of the said application the parties shall scrupulously adhere to the order passed by the trial Court in relation to the access. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of in above terms.
