Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners are facing trial in R.C.C.No. 137 of 2016 under Section 468 read with Section 34 and Section 120 B of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the petitioner no.1 is in service of the Police Department and is to attain the age of superannuation shortly. Pendency of the trial is likely to have effect on his retiral benefits. It is therefore prayed that the trial of the said proceedings be expedited. We have perused the roznama of the said proceedings which indicates that the recording of the evidence of witnesses is under way. Hence as the petitioner no.1 is to superannuate shortly and the evidence in the trial has commenced, the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Buldhana to take necessary steps to complete the trial preferably by 30th April, 2023. The petitioners shall co-operate in the speedy disposal of the said trial.

With these directions, the criminal writ petition is disposed of. Rule accordingly.
