Heard Shri D.S. Lambat, learned Advocate for the petitioner-husband. None appears for the respondent-wife, though served.

The order passed by the trial Court directing the husband to pay interim maintenance at the rate of Rs.2,000/- per month to the wife from the date of filing of the application, is proper and based on appreciation of the material on record. Similarly, the direction to pay Rs.500/- towards travelling expenses to enable the wife to attend the proceedings is also proper. I see no reason to interfere with the impugned order. The petition is dismissed. Considering the facts that the proceedings are of 2013, the trial Court is requested to dispose the proceedings expeditiously.
