By the present application, the respondent has applied for his discharge from the present proceedings. On a perusal of the application, it reveals that the applicant was also relieved from his post with effect from 08.02.2013 and the order of which the contempt is alleged, is passed on 20.02.2013.

In that view of the matter, the application is allowed and disposed of. The proceedings against the respondent are dropped. Leave is granted to the petitioner to implead the Officer, who was acting Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur at the relevant time.

Necessary steps be taken within a period of one week. Stand over to 21.01.2015.
