Prison (E)(R), Nagpur and another) __________________________________________________________________ Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders Court's or Judge's orders or directions and Registrar's orders.

Ms. D.K. Gawali, Advocate (appointed) for petitioner.

Mr. V.A. Thakare, Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

---------- CORAM : A.B. CHAUDHARI AND P.N. DESHMUKH, JJ.

DATED : JANUARY 20, 2015 The petitioner has challenged the order dated 9/7/2014 passed by the competent Authority rejecting his application for furlough.

On perusal of Police report dated 2/7/2014, which is adverse, it is revealed that petitioner's application for furlough came to be rejected on the ground that he is convicted and sentenced for the offence punishable under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code for causing murder of his

We have considered the grounds on which furlough application of petitioner came to be rejected and find that since petitioner is murderer of his mother, the grounds mentioned in the adverse Police report are sufficient for rejection of his furlough application. There is no substance in the criminal writ petition and hence, the same is dismissed.

The fee payable to the learned Counsel appointed for the petitioner is quantified as rupees fifteen hundred.
