The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the prayer made by prayer clause (A) has been rendered infructuous as the suspension period has expired. It is stated that a direction be issued to the respondent no.1-University to forthwith constitute the Grievance Committee so that the appeal-complaint of the petitioner in respect of payment of salary could be decided. Shri Kulkarni, the learned counsel for the respondent no.1-University, states that the elections to the Senate and the Academic Council are in progress and as soon as the members are elected, the Grievance Committee would be constituted. In view of the aforesaid, nothing would survive in this petition, at this stage. We dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Grievance Committee to decide the appealcomplaint of the petitioner as early as possible after the Grievance Committee is constituted.

Order accordingly. No costs.
