The State is in appeal challenging the judgment and order dated 30.1.2017, by and under which, sole respondent is acquitted of offence punishable under section498-A and 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Having perused the reasoning of the learned Sessions Judge, this Court is of the opinion that an arguable case is made out by the State. This Court would like to have a second look at the evidence.

Leave to appeal under section 378(4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is granted.

The appeal be registered.
