According to him, though the petitioners' lands have been acquired, the benefits under the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy of 2012 (for short, 'RR Policy') regarding grant of employment were not extended to them. The petitioners have made a detailed representation to the concerned authorities on 31.01.2025, however till this date the same has not been decided by the authorities. 2.

Considering the fact that there is a R R Policy and the decision can be taken by the authorities concerned under the said Policy, we direct the respondent nos. 1 and 2 to decide the representation dated 31.01.2025 within a period of ten weeks from today. 3.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
