By present application, the applicant is seeking condonation of delay of 22 days in filing the Appeal against conviction. The applicant has been convicted by the judgment and order dated 04.08.2023 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur in Special (POCSO) Case No.155/2021, for the offences punishable u/ss. 5(1) read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act read with Sections 366 and 363 of the IPC. The maximum sentence awarded to applicant is to undergo twenty years rigorous imprisonment. Learned APP has opposed the application.

For the reasons set out in the Application, the Application is allowed. The delay of 22 days caused in filing the present appeal is hereby condoned. The Appeal be registered.
