Mrs. M. Naik, A.G.P. for respondent nos. 2-A, 2-B and 3. CORAM : B. R. GAVAI & V. M. DESHPANDE, JJ.
DATE : DECEMBER 15, 2016 Perusal of the petition would reveal that the petition is arising out of personal grievance of the petitioner on account of purchasing of product which, according to the petitioner, was advertised in a manner giving a wrong impression.
The petitioner can always, in his individual capacity, sue the persons on whose erroneous representation, he was compelled to purchase the product. The Public Interest Litigation is, therefore, rejected, relegating the petitioner to the remedy available to in ordinary law.
