Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.
A challenge raised in the present petition is to the communication, dated 14.09.2021 issued by the respondent-authority whereby the petitioner's claim for a compensation package of Rs.5,00,000/- per acre, in lieu of employment under the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy, 2012 (R & R Policy, 2012), came to be rejected on the ground that the petitioner, being a foster/adopted son, does not fall within the definition of "family" as prescribed under the said policy.
3.
We have gone through the communication dated 14.09.2021 issued by the respondent-authority. 4.
Earlier also vide order dated 22.01.2016, the claim of the petitioner was rejected, and the said order has not been challenged.

2/2 5.
Again with the same request, the petitioner approached to the respondent-authority. At this time also i.e. on 14.09.2021, the respondent-authority rejected the claim of the petitioner on the ground that a foster son does not fall within the definition of "family" as prescribed under the said policy.
6.
Since the parties are governed by the R & R policy, 2012, and as nothing has been pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the foster son is entitled for such relief, we do not find any illegality in the communication impugned.
7.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
