Looking to several criminal cases against the applicant numbering twelve most relating to theft, robbery, attempts to assault and assaults, I do not think that the applicant is entitled to grant of anticipatory bail though he may be entitled for grant of regular bail. Mr. Mohta submits that the applicant has been acquitted in almost all cases, of which a list has been submitted by learned APP. I do not think that the same should be a ground to grant anticipatory bail in the light of criminal antecedents of the applicant. Moreover, there is a prima facie case against the applicant which is clear from the reply filed by the prosecution.

In these circumstances, Criminal Application [ABA] No. 689 of 2015 is rejected.
