This is an application filed under Section 152 of the Electricity Act, seeking compounding of the offence. 2.

The application records that the appellant has deposited the compounding charges of Rs.8,000/- on 08/07/2022, the copy of which receipt is filed along with application as Annexure-R-1 and therefore, seeks compounding of the offence.

1307 APPA 561 of 2022.odt dispute the deposit of this amount and has no objection for compounding the offence, considering which, the criminal application is hereby allowed and the offence punishable under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 is hereby compounded. The criminal appeal is accordingly disposed of as the offence is compounded.
