By this writ petition, the petitioners have sought a direction against the respondents to pay enhanced compensation to the petitioners.

On the 24th of October, 2016, a statement was made by the learned counsel for the M.I.D.C. that in view of the compromise entered into, between some of the other land holders and the respondent no.4, the petitioners would also be paid on similar lines. In view of the aforesaid statement, the petitioners have submitted their proposal to the respondent no.4-M.I.D.C. but the same is not decided till date.

In view of the agreement between the parties that the petitioners would accept the amount that is offered to the petitioners in terms of the compromise entered into, between some of the land holders and the respondent no.4-M.I.D.C., we dispose of the writ petition, with a direction to the respondent no.4-M.I.D.C. to abide by his statement and pay the compensation as per the compromise between the other land holders and the respondents, to the petitioners within two months.
