In pursuance of the order dated 11.08.2015 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.1143 of 2015, the question of eligibility of release of grants to the Society, which runs the respondent no.6-school, for the period from 2016 onwards at various levels of the Government was considered. The ultimate decision of the Government in response to the order passed by this Court is that there was no illegality in release of grants. The said decision was taken on 18.06.2016 which is not the subject matter of challenge in the petition.

So far as the illegalities in transfer of school from one place to another is concerned, there is some proposal by the Director of Education (Primary) to the Principal Secretary given on 06.04.2018. It is open for the State Government to take appropriate decision in the matter, if not already taken, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties. The public interest litigation stands disposed of.

PIL15-18 All the interim orders passed in this public interest litigation are vacated.
