It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that despite the order of the Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division, Nagpur dated 17.7.2014, directing the Zilla Parishad to reconsider the matter in respect of the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Extension Officer (Education) as per the seniority list, the Zilla Parishad has not decided the matter till date. On the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Zilla Parishad to decide the claim of the petitioner for promotion as early as possible and positively within a period of ten weeks.

Order accordingly. No costs.
