According to the petitioners, they are entitled for the compensation in view of the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that they have made a detailed representation and have also submitted various reminders, but till date, the issue has not been taken to its logical end by the respondent authorities. 4.

In view of the contentions raised, we direct respondent authorities to decide the representation dated 28/05/2025 within a period of eight weeks from today.

The petitioners undertake to produce a copy of this order before the respondent authorities, within a period of one week from today.
