1] It has been contended before us that, paragraph 5 of the order dated 08.01.2019 passed in Writ Petition No.7300/2017, leads to an inference that after the API score of the petitioner is calculated, the selection process should be continued at the stage at which it was halted. 2] Having perused paragraph 5, we find that this Court had directed the respondents to get the API score of the petitioner calculated and it was left open to the respondents to conduct a fresh process of selection for the post of Principal.
3] Contention of the petitioner is that a fresh advertisement cannot be published and no further application should be called for in such situation. We are
cp265.19.O.odt unable to accept the said contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, in this Contempt of Court proceedings. 4] It is, therefore, submitted by the learned counsel, on instructions, that the petitioner desires to withdraw this contempt petition and seek liberty to file an appropriate proceedings before the learned Bench, which has delivered the judgment dated 08.01.2019.
5] In view of the above, this petition is disposed off as withdrawn.
