In pursuance of settlement, Appellant (husband) has deposited an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- towards one time permanent alimony in this Court. The Applicant (wife) applied for withdrawal, however, since she does not have bank account in her matrimonial name, the amount did not release. The Applicant (wife) made a statement that she has no bank account in her matrimonial name but has bank account in her maiden name i.e. Dhanashri Chandrakant Godbole, and therefore, requested to allow withdrawal in said name.

Considering the difficulty placed by Applicant, the application is allowed in terms of prayer Clause (i). The application stands disposed.
