We deem it appropriate to quash and set aside the impugned order dated 11.10.2021 as the petitioner has demonstrated that the negative police report submitted by the Police Inspector, Gondia (City), which resulted into rejection of the prayer of the petitioner for grant of Card Room license, is base on factually incorrect position.

As such, we permit the petitioner to submit his point-wise explanation to the adverse police report before the Tahsildar, who shall pass a fresh order in the matter.

Mr. Deshpande, learned Counsel for the petitioner, submits that the explanation shall be submitted within a period of three weeks from today.

Let the order be passed and communicated to the petitioner within four weeks thereafter.

The petition stands partly allowed.
