DATED : JANUARY 06, 2017 This is an application for anticipatory bail by accused involved in Crime No.484/2016 registered under Section 65(e) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. Perused the case diary.

Admittedly, involvement of applicant is only on the basis of recovery of 12 country liquor bottles from his house in his absence. It is the specific case of applicant that he was not aware of any such bottles concealed in his house. The learned trial Court appears to have weighed the fact of recovery of country liquor bottles from the house of applicant and rejected his application for anticipatory bail. It appears that during the course of investigation, nothing could be revealed about the source of seized country liquor bottles from the house of applicant. In that view of the matter and since applicant has attended Investigating Officer as per directions issued earlier, interim protection granted to applicant on 16/12/2016 stands confirmed with further
