This is an application for bail before arrest in Crime No. 848/2016 registered under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act on the basis of report lodged by Rashmi, wife of applicant.

Considering the contents of report, the fact that all co-accused are released on bail and allegations made in the report are of general in nature, application is liable to be allowed in view of the fact that investigation is complete and charge-sheet is filed. From the case of prosecution it appears that report came to be lodged as applicant did not prefer to stay in the house of his in-laws and thus, came to be involved in the present crime. In that view of the matter, application is liable to be allowed as per order below :

Interim order dated 14/12/2016 passed by this Court stands confirmed. Applicant shall mark his

1101aba810.16 2/2 presence once in six months with Police Station, Ghatanji. The criminal application is accordingly allowed.
