After having heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned special counsel for respondent no. 1-CBI and also having seen the reports of the District Judges from Khamgaon and Akola, I am of the view that it would be in the interest of speedy trial that the matter at Khamgaon pending before the Additional Sessions Judge is made time-bound for its final disposal. Accordingly, it is directed that Special Anti-corruption Case No. 4 of 2014 shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the next date of appearance of the parties, which is stated to be 22.11.2018. It appears, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Khamgaon, is having only seven cases on his file and, therefore, he is requested to dispose of remaining cases also, as early as possible.

Disposed of accordingly.
