By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the District Deputy Registrar, BuldanaElection Officer to restrain the respondent nos.4 and 5 from participating and voting in the special meeting scheduled to be held on 08.12.2016 for the election of Chairman and Vice Chairman of A.P.M.C., Shegaon. It is stated that though the respondent nos.4 and 5 are disqualified, they are permitted to participate and vote in the meeting.

The elections are scheduled on 08.12.2016 and it would not be proper for this Court to interfere in the election process, at this stage. If disqualified members are permitted to vote at the election, the petitioner is free to take appropriate action by resorting to the provisions of the Act and the Rules.

The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
