CRIMINAL APPLICATION (BA) NO.974/2015 (Umesh Kamalnarayan Jaiswal and anr. ..vs.. State of Maharashtra, through PSO P.S. Hiwarkhed, Tq. Telhara, Dist. Akola) __________________________________________________________________________ Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, appearances, Court's orders of directions Court's or Judge's orders.
and Registrar's Orders.
Mr. J. B. Gandhi, Advocate for applicant.
Mr. Khan, A.P.P. for non applicant-State.
CORAM : A. B. CHAUDHARI, J.
DATE :
JANUARY 22, 2016 Mr. Gandhi, learned counsel for the applicant, vehemently argued that there is no iota of evidence against the applicant and the evidence is only about phone calls for supply of Ganja at the behest of the applicants. But then that is not a direct evidence and also there is no evidence in the form of indirect evidence even remotely connecting the applicants.
I do not agree with this submissions.
Perused the impugned order. The applicants appear to be prima facie involved in the sell and purchase of Ganja and were being transported by auto rickshaw through Renuka Chavan.
ba974.15 The trial Court has made observations that the trial would be commenced within three months from the date of order i.e. 08.12.2015. That being so, I make the following order.
ORDER
(i) Criminal Application No. 974/2015 is rejected.
(ii) The trial Court to complete the trial before 15.04.2016.
