DATE : December 07, 2015 Shri V. B. Bhise, learned counsel for the respondent No.5 states that the term for which the respondent No.5 was elected as Sarpanch of the Grampanchayat has come an end. The removal was sought under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958. In view of aforesaid, the challenge in the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
