Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader representing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 and 7 / State.

Against the order of termination from service dated 07.01.2019, which was received by the petitioner on 12.1.2019, the petitioner appears to have filed an appeal. It is pending consideration before the respondent No.6 - Chairman, Standing Committee, Municipal Council, Ramtek, District Nagpur. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer for issuing direction for expeditious disposal of appeal pending

2 wp1946.2024 before the Appellate Court. Accordingly, in view of the proposed order, we dispensed with issuance of notice to other respondents. 4.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks direction to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the impugned order dated 07.01.2019 as expeditiously as possible say within the period of two months from the date certified copy of this order is presented before the Appellate Court. Order accordingly. Writ petition is disposed of.

We make it clear that we have not adjudicated the correctness or otherwise of the order of termination. C IVIL APPLICATION (CAW) NO.1015/2024 5.

Since writ petition itself has been disposed of, this civil application shall also stand disposed of.
