2] The learned A.G.P. submits that pursuant to the disqualification of the petitioners, they had approached this Court and were granted an ad interim protection vide order dated 20.12.2016. They continued in office by virtue of the interim order. They were elected as Members of Grampanchayat Pimpalkhute Motha, Tq. Morshi, Distt. Amravati in the elections held in 2012. Their term of office has come to an end with the passage of 5 years and subsequent elections have also been held. It is, therefore, submitted that this petition can be disposed off as being infructuous. 3] Considering the above, this petition is disposed off being infructuous.
