Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the order for examination of ex-husband of respondent is an interlocutory order, therefore, revision should not be entertained by the learned Sessions Judge.

I find that the order would not be an interlocutory order since substantial right of the respondent to prove evidence on material facts going to the root of the case would be affected and, therefore, the revision was perfectly maintainable. Hence, I pass the following order.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Writ Petition No. 1091/2014 is dismissed.
