It is stated in the application that the noticee could not be served on the given address. According to the applicant, the respondent is avoiding the service of notice. Therefore, the applicant seeks permission to serve the respondent by paper publication on the last known address.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the application and bailiff report, the applicant is allowed to serve sole respondent by paper publication on last known address.

Substituted service be effected upon sole respondent by publishing notice in local daily which is widely circulated in the area where the respondent sole is known to have resided lastly, in terms of Order V Rule 20(1-A) of CPC. Returnable within four weeks from the date of publication of notice.
