The learned advocate for the respondent, the Secretary of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, has submitted that the order dated 19/09/2024 has been complied with and accordingly informed the petitioner; however, the postal envelope has been returned back.

Learned Advocate has also tendered an affidavit of the respondent across the bar, which is taken on record. In paras 6 and 9 of the said affidavit, he has stated about the compliance of the order, which reads thus :

The said Writ Petition was placed before the then Chairman of the Respondent, who directed the reconstitution of the committee. I further submit that, in the meantime, this issue was also taken up by the Full House of the Bar Council regarding the Constitution of the Internal Complaints Committee. Accordingly, a resolution

36. CP 340 of 2024.odt was passed on 10/08/2024 bearing Resolution No.136 (A) of 2024.

In the facts and circumstances, it is submitted that the order passed by this Hon'ble High Court was complied with in its letter and spirit. In view of this, a new committee has been constituted. Moreover, the committee has already started taking the necessary steps. The petitioner can very well contact the convener of the committee, so that the enquiry can be completed." 3.

In view of the respondent's statement in the affidavit, the notice is discharged.
