DATE : 07.03.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents - authorities to take immediate action on the basis of the reports, dated 4.8.2015 and 1.10.2014 against the respondent no.5 - Society.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ petition by an order dated 13.2.2016, the District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Yavatmal has appointed Shri P.R. Rathod, Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies, Darwha as an enquiry officer for conducting the enquiry under Section 83 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies, Act, 1960.

In view of the subsequent development, the purpose of filing the writ petition would stand served. It appears that the

0703wp148.16.odt respondents have initiated steps for conducting an enquiry in the matter, in pursuance of the reports, dated 4.8.2015 and 1.10.2014.
