The learned Counsel for the original appellant submits that the subject matter of depositing the amount in terms of the award is under consideration of the Head Office of the appellant. However, he has not received any instruction about the decision taken by the Head Officer in the matter. Considering the fact that in other similar matters, directions have been issued for depositing the amount of compensation, I am of the view that such directions can also be issued on this application.

The application is allowed. The appellant is directed to deposit the amount of compensation as granted in First Appeal Nos.588/2003 and 243/2004 within four months from the date of the order. After such deposit being made, respondent No.1 shall be permitted to withdraw the same. The application is disposed of accordingly.
