Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

The prayer is for issuance of directions to respondent no.4 to allot the plot of land as was offered to other similarly placed persons like the petitioners whose lands were affected because of the alignment of ring road.

Various communications are placed on record which are relied on so as to support the contentions.

In absence of there being any specific scheme to that effect, we are unable to appreciate the contentions of the petitioners in the wake of communication issued by respondent no.4 to the petitioners in relation to their contentions to offer the land, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent no.4 to treat the petition of the petitioners to be a representation and communicate the decision taken thereon in any case within a period of 8 weeks from the date of production of this order along with copy of the petition.
