On 29-1-2025, following order was passed.
"The contention is that without going into relevancy of the documents, which obviously can be seen, in the sense, the documents called were pertaining to interviews conducted by the petitioner - Corporation (original respondent) for appointment on various posts and not the relevant post, viz., 'Social Development Specialist', the Courts below have directed the petitioner to produce these documents.
2] Issue notice to the respondent returnable on 20/2/2025."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited my attention to the application filed by the respondent - original complainant seeking directions to the petitioner to produce documents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not mind supplying the documents relating to the post to which respondent had applied for appointment viz. 'Social Development Specialist'. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent has, inter alia, sought copies of all documents of the interviews which was conducted by the petitioner for appointment of various posts under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.

It appears that the respondent is seeking regularization. The order impugned does not disclose as to how the documents mentioned above would be of any significance.

None appeared for the respondent despite giving opportunity and, therefore, whatever has been submitted by the petitioner's counsel remained uncontroverted. In any case, there appears no reason why are all documents of interviews be supplied to the respondent.

In the circumstances, the purpose of filing petition will be served if the order impugned is modified and is restricted to issuing direction to the petitioner to produce all documents relating to the post for which respondent applied for.

The Labour Court, however, may call additional documents, if so required, to decide the issue involved in the complaint.

Writ petition is disposed of in above terms with no order as to costs.
