The challenge in the petition is to the detention order dated 16.07.2024 wherein the petitioner is styled as 'bootlegger'. 3.

It is an admitted position on record that the report of the Chemical Analyser's for the offences which are relied on in the order of detention were not produced before the Detaining Authority while passing the detention order.

In view of this undisputed position on record, the order of detention suffers from non-application of mind. 5.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to quash and set aside the impugned order dated 16.07.2024 passed by the Detaining Authority. 6.

The petitioner be set at liberty forthwith if not required in any other offence.
